I purchased this pedal as an extra addition to my Fender Pro Jr. Amp, which is very basic but quality amp with a volume and tone knob. I essentially have just velcro'd the pedal on top of my amp, hooked it up accordingly, and I have to say this pedal is AMAZING for the price/value/quality. Now I have turned my powerful little amp into a reverb beauty and I used it live last night for the first time with no complaints. As a guitarist for the past 20 years, and mainly a BOSS pedal guy, DONNER has become my favorite for quality guitar gear at an affordable price. Thanks!!!

works and looks just as it should. great little pedal!

Very good After all!
When it came, i First had Problems with the Pedal, Making Weird sounds occasionally. Contacted the support and they managed it to my total convenience. The pedal itself sounds awesome. Personally I like the studio setting best. Great pedal at a great price.

recieved the reverb pedal the week of a gig. seemed ok but, immediately in use at my gig the pedal had issues.
engage the pedal(LED indicating the pedal/effect was engaged) and NADA, ZIP, NOTHING !
not an intermittent issue, the pedal/effect worked when it felt like working overall, extremely disappointed.....

shipping issues aside.... it surpassed expectations fir the price. hope to purchase the dark mouse soon.

Love this reverb, it has just enough options to play around with but not too many that it becomes overwhelming. Simple and to the point reverb that rounded out my board very nicely.

I was looking for a reverb pedal under $50 that actually sounded good, and finally found this one. It’s the best reverb pedal I’ve ever owned, even better than the ehx. The room setting in particular is what sold me, to my ears it is the most natural sounding “room” sound I’ve ever heard coming from a pedal (or even from a plugin, for that matter). A bonus is the fact that it doesn’t cut your signal level like most reverbs do (it actually seems to boost it a good 3db or so). If you don’t have one just go ahead and get it, you’ll definitely find a use for it and the price is unbeatable.

My order got lost in shipping. I complained. Donner sent a replacement. It works like a champ. I have a duo and we use a small mixer with no effects. I put this pedal in the signal chain between the mixer and powered speaker ... and presto ... quality reverb with NO discernable signal loss or noise.

Pedal very good! THE Product arrived in only 17 days! Great seller! Recommend!
On modes pedal, like most Plate, Hall and Mod. THE Spring is good but not drip.

It took awhile to receive all of the components for my pedal board, but it was well worth it in the long run. I'm still making some adjustments, but so far these pedals are totally awesome! Great sounds coming from these minis. You get a lot of bang for your buck with Donner pedals. I'm absolutely amazed. Thank you Donner!!!

This product is outstanding , it delivers the sound as if it cost three times the price.
I would recommend anyone looking for a full reverb sound with many variations look no further. Thanks Donner for another great product.

The reverb is good but the E-Level is extremely sensitive. I can barely move it off the minimum setting and it over powers the itself. Maybe I got a defective unit? I don't know.
Be cautious of this unit.

I love this pedal and goes great with my Orange crush amp

A great reverb pedal

I have two Dinner reverb pedals. One on my board, and one that stays permanently on a Fender Champ.

Extremely versatile pedal.....so many options! Well built and easy to use.

Very flexible reverb but no sounds that wow me
For the price, the Donner Square 7 is a good reverb. However, in comparison to my existing portable reverbs, a "relatively" bulky Red Panda Context and my nano-sized Joyo Ironman Space Verb, there is no advantage to the Donner Square 7 for me. Reverb sounds are very subjective but I find the reverb sounds of my Red Panda and Joyo to be fuller and more natural. No matter the settings, the Donner tended to sound a bit thinner and brighter. This was particularly so with more subtle "plate" sounds which I tend to use most often. The Donner is less expensive than either the Joyo or Red Panda and is a good value for the price. For me personally, the hall and church sounds of the Donner would be the most useful while the plate reverb was less accurate than I had hoped.

Recently purchased both versions of this pedal for both of my pedal boards. I like mini-pedals and these are very mini sized and that's a good thing. There are many usable reverbs on both pedals my favorites are Hall, Plate, and Church and I really like the Dark Sea on the Evolution +

Fast delivery - Works Great!

Like my other Donner effects this one sounds great and is easy to use. Thank you for making affordable and great sounding pedals!

Top… Especially considering the price a tasty compact pedal.

I recently purchased both versions

Effective, variety and compact.

Does not even work
Mine wont even turn on with all connections to amp and power source properly connected. Great value for what you are paying.
Albert G.
Small but good sound option.
The price is great and the different options, make for a sound just the way I want it. The only thing I'd say would improve the pedal would be a tighter selector switch. Excellent pedal for the price.

Very small pedal. Everything works.

A little long in the shipping. But item performs as advertised. Need to buy a dc power supply,
which should be included, but still decent value value for the money.

Versatile Pedal and Very Usable
The first one I bought had an issue with some white noise, so I returned it and the second one I got works great. The spring reverb sounds very much like what you'd hear on an amplifier. My amp is a DIY clone of a '57 Fender Deluxe which didn't have reverb, so this pedal works perfectly to fill the gap there. The plate reverb is by far the most "expensive" sounding reverb this pedal has to offer and is worth the price of admission alone. I also enjoy the studio, room and even mod sounds. This is worth the price, don't be a reverb snob and buy this pedal!

Bought this for my mandolin player. He uses it every show. Great reverb unit
Paul-David A.
This a good device with several modes.. Very sturdy enclosure. My only quibble is that an adapter wasn’t included.

These pedals are well built and sound great, budget friendly too

Very impressive little reverb unit. Nice range of tones and modulations, all authentic sounding reverb. Very happy with this purchase. Great price and fast delivery as well.
I even paired it with a tiny desk-top amp that has no reverb or tone control and it actually sounds great.
Francis M.
This is the best reverb pedal I have used, and I've used a few. The choices it has let me vary my sound just like I've wanted for quite some time, Great Pedal - Great Price.
Minh N.
This reverb pedal is awesome. Everything I need (with great sounds) in a small package.
In the past I also tried Donner Tutti Love chorus and Donner Yellow Fall delay, both are also very great pedals. Highly recommended.

Great Value and Sound
In reading reviews from a couple of different sources, I didn't expect this to be that great. I have experience with many different types of Reverb units ranging from digital recording programs, guitar amplifiers and pedals. I am very happy with the Donner pedal especially for the price that I paid. Have I heard better reverbs? Yes. Would I spend three to tens times as much for a slightly better effect? No. All of the reverbs on the Donner pedal are at least decent and a couple of them are fantastic. Once again, Donner delivers great quality and value.

Love it
Love it! I did a live video on Facebook demonstrating the sound of the Pedal (and using my Ditto Looper) It's small but made with quality materials and for $35? Awesome!

Very good reverb pedal for the price!
Pros:
-Price
-Pedalboard Real Estate (Size)
-7 Unique and Usable Modes
-Sturdy Build
Cons (Which aren't even that bad):
-E. Level, Decay, and Tone knobs are spaced a bit close, this may be a concern for people with "thicker" fingers.
-None of the modes are all that stellar, but definitely usable.
-Uneven balance for both Effect Level and Decay when switching between modes*
*This is an understandable thing when talking about Decay levels because obviously a Room reverb won't have an identical decay to a Hall. But this becomes a problem for the Effect Level because none of the dry/wet mixes on the modes match, meaning you would have to fiddle around with the mix after changing modes. This is definitely a "Set it and Forget it" pedal, don't expect to be doing any quick mode switches during a set. (Alternatively, you could buy 2 :P)

As always, Donner doesn't disappoint. Love the small footprint of these pedals, and they work great. Can't imagine buying a pedal from anyone else. Great prices, great products, and quick delivery.

Description of product on line stated that unit came with 9v power supply. There was none in the shipment. I had to buy one (which has not arrived yet) so I don’t know how well it works

This new true bypass Donner Reverb offers a lot of options at a super affordable price. The pedal has small foot print, and is housed in a very nice strong aluminum-alloy casing. All connections, including power, were tight and sturdy. The pedal runs on a 9v adapter, which is not included.
You get 7 reverb modes covering all the reverb types that one would want. You can adjust the level of the reverb, the decay which sets the duration, and you can adjust the tone to get darker to brighter sounds. For your big open sounds, you have the hall and church modes. The church mode gets a bit synth sounding on the decays. My personal favorites were the room, spring, studio and mod. I got the best sounds out of these modes running all pedal settings at about 11 o'clock with my amp, and Donner seems to get modulation right in all their pedals. I also noticed that with all the modes, a sort of punchiness when playing almost as if I there is a light compressor setting applied. I will be adding this pedal to the board, and it will be a welcome addition, since my amp has my least favorite reverb which is plate reverb.

I recently purchased a noise killer, a digital reverb and an analog Delay. It has made my sound bigger and more vintage. Love the size of the effect pedals and also the low current consumption.
Christopher H.
I would rather have at least one usable tone rather than 7 unusable tones. The room setting with a modest decay is the only barely useable tone and the rest of the settings sound hollow with a strange flutter or chop with longer decay settings. Oh well, I probably won't return it but may use it in front the the 35 watt Donner drum amp to let my girlfriend sing karaoke or scavange it for parts.

Donner offers up a real contender for those who quest for the perfect reverb pedal. Seven modes including all the usuals - Room, Hall, Church (Cathedral), Spring, Plate - however it's the Studio and Mod (modulated) reverbs that really shine on this pedal, IMHO. The Studio setting will probably find itself as an always-on-end-of-chain pedal for many who may even have other delay/reverb pedals. My personal favorite is the modulated reverb. It adds warmth and a feeling of motion and life to my P90s. I've found that you need to stay below 5 or 6 on the Feedback and Volume if you're running into the front of an amp, but it sounds wonderful in an effects loop and you can go wild with thick, lush reverbs. In fact, seven of them in a mini case made of metal with a non-slip rubber bottom. Donner does a good job.
Robert L.
Doner says product is lost in shipment. They say they are shipping replacement to arrive in 5 to 7 days. I don't believe them.
Tim P.
Donner has been great for orders and shipping, and their products for guitar pedal effects are really great, they resolved an issue on my last order, and i had been ordering their products, guitar stomp pedals, pedalbord, and came thru wonderfully on an order i thot i had lost my money..
Michelle c.
It is a good an affordable product.
I am currently using it with a Bass guitar on "studio" mode with
E_Level and Decay on "9 O' clock" and Tone on 12.
Peter F.
I find the Verb Square to be most useful scaled back a little and used as texture within your rhythms. It's not going to match a Caverns or any other boutique reverb, and it's not Fender caliber, but it does hold up nicely as a basic accent pedal and can easily find a place on your gig board.
Thad B.
It not only sounds great but it has such a variety of different reverb’s for such a small unit!
Neil M.
Excellent reverb pedal!
Chris D.
I'm so glad that I found Donner pedals! They are really great pedals that don't break the bank! I have four pedals now and each of them are well made, very sturdy and have great features. Easy to use, very adjustable to dial in your unique tone. I highly recommend these pedals before spending a lot $$$ on other pedals!
