I am SO pleasantly surprised with my purchases! I bought 8 parlour guitars and 9 mini electric guitars and the quality is beyond my expectations! These are real guitars that are full of quality. The extras that Come in the packs are also great quality, a tuner, capo, replacement strings, picks..... We will be using them for children's guitar classes and I am so glad that the are built so well with such great sound. The little amps are perfect for learners and the children are going to love rocking out on them! I HIGHLY recommend!

Wow, this is what dreams are made of!!! This is exactly what I would have wanted as a child and honestly my seven year old daughter is living her best life! She is set to start lessons next week and this really got her hyped up.
The only downside is, I wish this was in a hard case - as we all know children and adults can drop things and a soft case is just asking for damage!
I am also having issues with the D string staying tuned - I am not sure why though as everything seems to be in place and working properly. I will just have to take it apart and re-string it.
Well made
Quality Materials
31.9 inches long - perfect for kids
Additional strings included, strap, picks and tuner also included.
Amp - it works pretty well (included battery was dead on arrival)

Beautiful color nice weight great size for a kid easy to tune comes with a tuning instrument carrying case small amp with a battery plug to plug into the guitar and the amp comes with four guitar picks and extra guitar strings really nice as a gift great value has a volume button on the guitar. The battery was dead for the app so we weren’t able to test to see if it works

My 8 yr old has really enjoyed this guitar. It’s the perfect size for him. It’s a heavy, quality guitar. The little amp and color and style of the guitar is adorable. Sound is okay. He is learning to play on it so I’m happy.

We absolutely adore this electric guitar. We got it for our 11 year old who is interested in learning all kinds of music instruments, but especially the guitars. He already had a Fender Acoustic that I got him a few years ago and we have been working on that but he really wanted to also try out the electric guitar. I felt this one would probably be perfect for his size and it is, plus all of the things that come with it are awesome. For the price, this definitely is worth it. The craftsmanship of the guitar is impressive and we didn't have to break the bank to get him started on this. I highly recommend this for a child who wants to learn the electric guitar, you absolutely can't go wrong with the kit. The amp works sufficiently for this learning purpose and when you are ready to upgrade, you will know what to look for! Hope this review is helpful!

Let me say up front that I'm a little biased. In a fairly short span of time, Donner has gone from a brand I only knew for their affordable mini effects pedals to perhaps my favorite budget manufacturer -- and since I'm a budget musician through and through, that's saying a lot. I liked their pedals, was blown away by their Cyclops mini amp (wow!), and liked their gear enough that I bought their Les Paul style budget guitar, which is WAY better than a sub-$200 guitar has any right to be.
So needless to say, I've had a good experience with them.
But what about THIS guitar? Did they nail it?
I'd say so.
Right off the bat it's important to acknowledge what this is: It's a mini guitar intended for kids. Yes, you can get a full-sized budget guitar for roughly the same price, but 1) it's unlikely to be as well made, 2) it's unlikely to have as many extras in the package, and 3) most important of all, IT WILL BE TOO BIG FOR KIDS!
This is also important to acknowledge: It may be for kids, but it's no toy. This is a real electric guitar. It's made like any other, only smaller. I plugged it into my Marshall amp and effects pedals and played it like any other guitar because other than size, it IS like any other guitar.
Build quality is very good for the price range. Frets are even and feel good along the neck. Wood body is nicely made. The tuning knobs are imprecise and fussy, but that's to be expected at this price range. Pickups sound good, the volume knob feels cheap. The overall sound is good and it plays well.
With the intonation, your mileage will vary -- again, common for budget guitars -- and no, it's really not a huge deal for a kid just starting out; by the time it becomes relevant, they'll have moved on to a bigger, better guitar.
For a kid just starting out, it'll do the job. (Kid, not teen. By that age, they'll need a full-sized guitar.)
Even better is how complete the package is. Everything you need comes with it, which is what makes it so ideal for beginners. There's the usual stuff, like picks, a tuner, extra strings, a strap, and a cleaning cloth, but it goes beyond that. The gig bag it comes in is surprisingly decent and will offer some solid protection when hauling the instrument to grandma's. It also has an instrument cable and -- get this -- a mini amp! Yes, there is a mini amp in the box!
Granted, unlike everything else here, the amp is pretty much a toy. It's nowhere NEAR the high quality of Donner's Cyclops mini amp. But for a kid, this little plastic amp will serve just fine for now, even if it does sound like junk. And to be honest, I considered it a surprise extra, so I can't knock them for it not being top shelf.
Overall this is an impressive package which I enthusiastically recommend for young kids (around 6 - 12) who are interested in playing the guitar. It's affordable, well made, and it's every bit a REAL electric guitar.

This is a good set for a beginner but there are things to watch out for if you are not handy with guitars and amps.
The guitar is beautifully built and cosmetically speaking it is in great shape. It comes with a functional tuner, picks, strap, strings, cable, amp, etc. everything you need to start playing. the gig bag is very nicely padded.
Here is the reason for the 4-star review
1) Guitar played great out of the box and the action was good but the fret ends are somewhat sharp and uncomfortable. I had to take some sanding paper and steel wood to smoothen them out.
2) The humbucking pick-up is a great touch to eliminate noise but this one is very hot. A medium output would be a better fit for a beginner. Especially for this amp.
3) Amp sounds like a cheap radio. It is very buzzy and fizzy. Gain is not usable at all. I ended up turning the gain all the way down. Volume quarter way. Tone at 12 o'clock. This gave me a manageable clean tone.
I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.

I had some problems with this guitar initially but Donner made it right. They stand by their gear, I'll say that for them. The open-back tuning machines still leave some to be desired but there are not a lot of choices with this size of guitar so compromises are going to happen.

I bought this guitar as a gift for my friend's 4 year old daughter who has expressed interest in guitar. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years so I wanted to get a guitar package that was appropriately sized, not completely shoddy like some of the beginner guitars I remember learning on, and budget-minded. I say budget-minded because at that age I realize this guitar can likely end up just being a toy or prop (or lose interest all together) so you wouldn't want to spend too much on something nicer, say a Squire Mini. Also, although the Squire Mini is a smaller 3/4 scale guitar intended for kids, I feel it is still too large for my friends daughter.
I bought the Surf Green ST 30-inch guitar package. I've included a photo of it next to some of my other guitars to show the size difference. Everything appeared to be included with the package (strap, bag, picks, amp) but I did not open any of those items since it is a gift. Refer to other reviewers comments for the accessories. I only took the guitar out to make sure it is set up as good as it can be.
For the money, overall I am satisfied with the guitar. As others have mentioned, the tuners are imprecise and the slightest turn can make it hard to dial in the tuning, but not unexpected on a budget guitar. Some of the frets stick out as well that need addressed, but this can even happen on more expensive guitars.

I could notbe happier with the quality for the amount of money spent. What a great deal for a beginner of young age .
