A solid pedal
I have used this pedal with my saxophone, keyboards, and guitar and it has given me the desired auto-wah effect. I like the pedal and it has some nice combination of flexibility and simplicity.

The package arrived quickly.
The package fits in a regular mailbox with USPS delivering, so no waiting around for other mail carriers.
Opened up the box -first reaction the pedal is small "mini" as they claim.
But it feels pretty solid.
The pedal housing is metal.
Sounds great plugged in to my Peavey Deuce. Variable speeds and percentage of how much wah you want are easily dialed in.
Does what it's supposed to do.

I purchased another well-reviewed envelope filter/wah pedal and put it up for sale after I got the Donner Mini Auto Wah Pedal, which was my third Donner mini. At less than half the price and half the space on my pedalboard, the Donner is built like a rock and is easier for me to use and get the sounds I want or what I like to play. The only downside is the slight pop when you engage the pedal but it is more than manageable so I will still give it five stars. If you are looking for a no-frills easy to dial in cut to the chase quacking sound for funk jams or some of those haunting Jimi Hendrix Crybaby wah tones you can't go wrong with this little guy and you can use the savings to treat yourself to another one of Donner's fine offerings.

This pedal has exceeded my expectations! You can get a variety of awesome funky tones. I like putting an overdrive pedal like the Donner Tube Drive after it as well, it sounds super vintage that way. Got this autowah after reading a few reviewes.
Folks, this little number rocks! It outperforms my old Ibanez envelope filter, and has more tonal options. Once I figured out the setting parameters, I was able to get a range of groovy sounds, and especially that "Jerry" pop, a la "Fire on the Mountain"

This pedal is a great value - it does everything you would want an auto-wah or envelope follower to do, with plenty of adjustability. Everything from subtle to extreme shaping of the sound is possible. The unit seems to be well-constructed, works great on standard guitar 9V power supplies, and seems to be fairly quiet in operation. I'm quite pleased with it!

So far Donner has just taken my money and gave me a pedal that doesn't work. If anyone out there has had the same problem please contact the Better Business Bureau, I have made a complaint to them. Maybe if there are enough, the BBB will look into getting our money back or at least get the items we have ordered. Do not order from Donner.

Was a great sounding little auto-wah
I have had this for about 6 months and only used at a few band practices. I have it on a board with the Donner power brick DP-1 powering about 6 other Donner pedals. It was working fine until recently and started cutting in and out. Then just would not pass any sound while activated. It would light up , but I think the pedal switch itself went out. Glad I'm not currently gigging out or in need of this effect right away. I'll probably replace it with a more expensive brand pedal going forward. It was a great sound and clean when it worked. I do believe these are true bypass and very clean when off.. I guess you get what you pay for. FYI, most of the other Donner pedals are still working.

This is a good, inexpensive pedal. I hesitate to call it cheap, because it actually seems to be of better quality than I was expecting. The enclosure is metal, not plastic, and the knobs fell ok, even if they are very small. I was looking for an auto wah with a small footprint for my B-board. This fits perfectly and works pretty well. Definitely depends on which guitar I am using with it, and the settings. The real value will become clear if this budget pedal survives for more than a couple of weeks. If it proves to be durable, then it deserves 5 stars.

It's a great addition to any board, especially if you like to play funk. I use it on guitar and bass. Combined with fuzz make a nice synth like tone out played with a clean tone gives you a classic 70's quack.

this is a great pedal! sutle but powerful. does exactly as advertised and then some.signal is sharper, crisper, louder,even clearer.it is built great and also looks realy good. has a wiiiiiiiiide range of effect. i keep everything at 12:00 and just enjoy the quality of the tone i get. i now have several donner pedals ,and can see clearly that this is a good company. all of mine are A+ or better! got a new one coming in the box tommorow , and cant hardly wait. anywhoo, if you want hightech , touch sensitive, very quiet(no bad noise whatsoever!) and obedient wah........... this is it. the effect realy does blend rapid notes beautifuly. the wah effect does not overpower. it just kicks in harmonics and adds a flair of wah. at the price i paid i am very happy. its perfect for my style while being very precice and controlable. i am a huge fan of donner now and would tell any 35+year player to give this company a try. 3 pedals later and 1buknchange and ived uped my whole game. thanks donner for providing pro quality effects at budget prices! hurry up.......................get one before there gone.

I ordered it with a fuzz pedal and power source. The wah came days ago and I am still waiting for the rest of my order.
It doesn't work at all. I don't mean it works bad, it just doesn't work period. I contacted Donner minutes after recieving it and got no answer. I have contacted them 3 times and still no answer. I will never deal with this company again. Buyer beware. Customer service does not exist here.
I would advise people to shell out the extra money and get something that works. I really wanted this pedal (in working order) but apparently after they have your money they stop responding to you. I think I'm gonna go with a Cry Baby.

Love this mini-Auto Wah pedal. Always been hard for me to get the desired sound from a traditional Wah pedal cocked in a set position. This Auto Wah solves that. Sounds great, easy to control, takes very little board space all for a great value! Want to nail classic songs like Superstition, Shakedown Street, Hendrix tunes, cool funk - then this is the pedal for you!
